John Paul Simon, LMFT, ACS

With over ten years of clinical experience, John Paul Simon, licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), serves as Director of Clinical Interventions in Schools for CarePlus NJ, a leading provider of integrated primary and behavioral health care in northern New Jersey, and Assistant Director of NJ4S Bergen, a comprehensive mental wellness program for students and families led by Children’s Aid and Family Services.

Working with CarePlus since 2013 as Director of Clinical Interventions in Schools, John Paul addresses the mental health needs of students to increase their academic success and positive peer interactions. John Paul aims to lead the ongoing empowerment and development of CarePlus NJ and provides service to foster positive communities.

As Assistant Director of NJ4S Bergen, John Paul works closely with the program director to develop and direct all operations of the NJ4S Bergen Hub, ensuring the successful delivery of mental wellness and prevention programs and services to Bergen County schools. In collaboration with local partners and community members, he establishes programming responsive to the community’s needs through regularly scheduled meetings with the Hub’s Advisory Board, composed of community members, parents, students and school personnel.
