Mike Perkins, MEd, has been an educator for 17 years, and is the principal of a Title 1 school in metro Atlanta. He is an author, speaker, and trainer, as well as a parent of a child diagnosed with ADHD, Tourette Syndrome, and a learning disability. He uses his experience to help others understand how to motivate children and teens to invest in strategies that reduce stress and conflict, and promote independence and self-esteem. Mike provides a framework of research-based interventions for parents and professionals which are focused on strengthening executive functions.
