Florence Cannon
Florence Cannon, MS, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist in private practice. She began her professional life as a middle school Language Arts teacher, and while she loved working with young people and teaching language skills, she discovered that she really wanted to help students overcome their specific, unique challenges with language. So, she went back to graduate school for a degree in Communication Disorders and has found her dream profession in Speech-Language Pathology! Florence enjoys working with school-aged children with a variety of language disorders, and especially enjoys helping students improve their listening comprehension, reading decoding, reading comprehension, and memory. Florence lives in Atlanta with her husband and five children-- two of whom have been diagnosed with ADHD and Executive Dysfunction. To learn more, visit www.thelanguagegroup.org.
